Here are a few of Danny's answers to some popular questions:

What do you look forward to most about serving in the Legislature?
Promoting a business environment that encourages investment in good paying jobs,
controlling government spending and taxation andprotecting marriage and the family.
 
What do you like most about Iowa?  
The open spaces, her farms and the people who work hard and
take care of their loved ones.
 
Of your personal background what do you think has prepared you most to
be in the Legislature?  
Serving for ten years as a foster parent.
 
What makes you uniquely suited to serve as State Representative?  
My background in elected office as a County Supervisor, 12 years
in the legislature and business experience in telecommunications
and real estate.
 
What experience did you find most valuable from farming?  
Nothing is impossible, you can do just about anything if you put your mind to it.
 
What has surprised you most recently on the campaign trail?  
People who apologized for not doing more in the 2006 election.
 
Of the legislation debated in the last two years, what would you
most like to change?  
I would like to have seen the proposed constitutional amendment passed by the
legislature.  We lost an excellent opportunity to start the process.  Not doing so
set us back two years at least.
 
What tax would you like to cut most?  
Property taxes
 
What state agency would you like to see receive more funding or support?
Road maintenance and construction.
 
What is the first bill you would sponsor or propose as State Representative?  
Proposed constitutional amendment to protect marriage.

What specific thing would you like to do to help attract and retain young
people to the state of Iowa?  
Encourage good paying jobs.
 
How would you suggest people get involved in your campaign?  
Volunteer to host a coffee in their home.
 
What is your favorite Iowa State Fair food?  
Pork chop on a stick.
